ACEDEMIC PROGRAMMES OF WRC

Academic Programmes:

The Instiutue of Engineering, Paschimanchal Campus, Lamachaur Pokhara is offering B.E and Diploma courses with the objective of producing high level technical manpower capable of undertaking works in the engineering fields. The main focus of the courses is to train the students in technical and analytical skills required to enable them to function and practices as professional engineers on all aspects of engineering works in the development of nation. The duration of program is 4 years for Bachelor level and 3 years for Diploma engineering. Each academic year consists of 2 semesters. The programs are conducted under 5 departments.

Research/Trainings:

WRC has established Research, Training and Consultancy Units (RTCU) in each of its department for providing trainings, research and consultancy services  on different disciplines.

Currently, it has conduced trainings on,

• AutoCAD 2D/3D
• SAP 90 & SAP2000.
• Plumbing works.
• Automobile repair training's
• Electronics devices (TV, Radio etc.) Repair training
• Computer Hardware & Software Training
• Electrical House / Industrial Wiring

Besides these units, a Training & Consultancy Services (TACS) has also been established to incorporate to incorporate different engineering services.

Our Intake Capacity:

Diploma Level

• Civil Engg.- 48 (48-Regular)
• Mechanical Engg.- 24 all Regular
• Automobile Engg.- 24 all Regular

Total intake in Diploma level is 96 students per year.
